Cyber Monday starts on Monday, 12/2/2024, but there are a ton of great deals already, so we’re going to take a look at the best Cyber Monday deals for Synology, NAS, networking, and just about anything home lab related.
More importantly, most “deals” aren’t always deals. Generally, certain devices are put on sale but the prices are raised over the course of the past few weeks to make it look like a sale. I’ll utilize a website called CamelCamelCamel which tracks Amazon prices to determine just how good these Cyber Monday deals are.
This list will be updated as the day goes on and new deals will be added, with old or out-of-stock deals being removed!

Best Cyber Monday Deals 2024: Synology, NAS, Networking, Hard Drives, & More
We’ll look at some of the best Cyber Monday deals of 2024 below, and compare them to their all-time lows to determine exactly how good of a deal these are.
Synology DS923+
The Synology DS923+ is on sale for $509.99 on Newegg, and there’s a chance it’ll be on sale on Monday at Amazon as well (I’ll update this if it is)! This is the latest 4-bay NAS device from Synology and one that I own that functions very well for the price. We have no idea if/when the Synology DS925+ is coming, and when it does, it won’t be on sale for this price, so if you want to purchase a 4-bay Synology NAS, this might be the last time that you’ll be able to get it on sale.

The DS923+ comes with DSM, which is generally regarded as an enterprise-grade NAS operating system (and used with their rack station series in enterprise environments around the world).
This is the lowest overall price that this device has been on sale for in almost two years according to Amazon’s history.
Synology DS1821+
The Synology DS1821+ is on sale for Cyber Monday at $899.99. While the DS1825+ is rumored to be coming out, it’s rumored to use the same processor and potentially 4GB extra memory, with 2.5GbE instead of 1GbE.
If those rumors are true, I’d suggest that you buy the DS1821+ and potentially add those upgrades if you need it (especially because this device will run significantly better with the 10GbE card). It’s hard to say until that device is actually released, but if it does in fact contain those minor upgrades, this is a great deal. It’s currently sold out on Amazon, but can still be found on Newegg for Cyber Monday.

The DS1821+ is also at it’s all-time low over the course of the past three years, making it a great overall deal.
Synology DS223j
The Synology DS223j is a pretty good off-site backup or starter NAS at this price. It’s pretty weak from a processor/memory perspective, but allows you to use Btrfs and runs the same DSM operating system that all other Synology NAS devices use (though, admittedly, you’ll be able to do less and potentially run into unsupported features). Either way, still a great deal.

The DS223j is close to it’s all-time low – coming in around $10 more than it’s lowest, so if you want one of these, now is the time.
20TB IronWolf Pro Enterprise NAS Hard Drive
As of right now, this is the best overall NAS hard drive you can purchase. It’s $16.50 per terabyte, and is an IronWolf Pro drive, so you get higher read/write speeds (7200RPM) and higher cache (256MB). Also comes with a higher workload rate and is simply a better drive than regular NAS drives, including regular non-pro IronWolf drives.

This is the lowest price that the 20TB IronWolf Pro drives have ever been, so if you want enterprise-grade NAS hard drives, this is the one to get.
12TB Seagate IronWolf NAS Hard Drive
This is a consumer-grade NAS hard drive which comes in at $199.99 for Cyber Monday. I have a ton of these drives and have had a good overall experience with them, and with the price coming in at $16.66 per terabyte, it’s not a bad deal at all.
Click here to purchase the 16TB IronWolf Pro HDD on Amazon
Using the CamelCamelCamel price tracker, the drive is close to its all-time low, but not quite there. Still, for the price/terabyte ration, it’s not bad at all. The 8TB drive is on sale for $149.99 as well, but at a $18.75 price-to-terabyte ratio, I’d spring for the 12TB if you can afford it – plus, the additional storage will never hurt.
Western Digital Elements 20TB
This is one of my favorite deals on the list and it’s a carry over from Black Friday. It’s a 20TB Western Digital Elements external hard drive. You can use this as a local backup for a NAS device, or as a regular, internal SATA drive as it can be removed from the case (shucked).
These are white-label, Western Digital Red NAS drives (WD Elements and WD Easystore as well), meaning that it physically has a white label but is a Western Digital CMR NAS hard drive. From a price-to-terabyte ratio, it’s hard to get better than this and it’s the best on this list.

UniFi Express (Router/Firewall)
If you’re using a regular ISP router and are interested in upgrading, this is the device I’d suggest starting with as it’s a powerful router/firewall, but also an access point as well, so this is an all-in-one device. It’s on sale for Black Friday (technically, Cyber Monday as the sale extends throughout the day on Monday) at $109.00 and gives you the complete UniFi software suite, including their cloud-hosted site manager.
Click here to purchase the UniFi Express
You’re able to configure VPNs, VLANs, extremely advanced firewall rules, and more. It’s so much more powerful than a regular ISP or even third-party router, and it’s on sale for a great price. Once you see what you can do with the UniFi Site Manager, you’ll never go back to anything else.
TerraMaster F4-424 Pro
In my opinion from a hardware perspective, I’d say it’s just about impossible to build anything like the this device for the money – it’s a great value. It has an 8-core Intel i3-N305 CPU and comes with 16GB of DDR5 memory that can be upgraded to 32GB. This device is on sale at $519.99, making it the best NAS you can purchase on Cyber Monday in 2024.
Click here to purchase the TerraMaster F4-424 Pro on Amazon
The downside of this NAS is that it runs TOS 6, and it’s not the best operating system you can use.
With that said, since it has an HDMI port, you can install just about any operating system you’d like on it, with my favorites being TrueNAS, Unraid, and OpenMediaVault.
This is the price history of this device, and as you can see, it’s at an all-time low…and again, for the price (assuming you’re willing to install your own OS), this deal is hard to beat.
UGREEN NASync DXP4800 Plus & DXP2800
The UGREEN NASync DXP48000 Plus (4 bay device – $559.99) and the DXP2800 Plus (2 bay device – $319.99 for Cyber Monday, down from $399.99) are pretty great deals, especially the four bay due to the 10GbE NIC that it comes with. With that said, neither are as good of a deal as the TerraMaster F4-424 Pro as that’s a more powerful overall device, for less total money.
Click here to purchase the UGREEN NASync DXP2800 on Amazon
The DXP28000 comes with an Intel N100 processor, which for the money, is a great overall processor, while the DXP4800 Plus comes with an Intel Pentium Gold 8505 Processor. Same as the TerraMaster above, you can install your own OS if you don’t like the UGREEN OS, and this could be a great little home server or NAS.
QNAP TS-464-8G-US
QNAPs operating system is (for the most part) regarded as the second best operating system you can get in a prebuilt device (Synology being number one). This QNAP 4-bay NAS is a good overall device if you take the OS into consideration.
If you don’t care about the operating system (and if you do, look at the Synology DS923+ above), this is a worse device than the TerraMaster NAS above…granted, it’s a little bit cheaper.

This is the absolute lowest price that this model has ever been on sale for, so if you want a 4-bay QNAP device, Cyber Monday is the time to buy it.
MINISFORUM MS-01
The MINISFORUM MS-01 is known as the home lab king. It’s a Mini PC that comes with two 10Gb SFP+ ports and two 2.5GbE ports, has a PCIe slot, two NVMe slots, and one additional expansion slot.
This thing is an absolute beast for the price, and there are a few different models that you can buy. The barebones model with the i9 12900H process is on sale for $519.92, with the i9 13900H model being on sale for $671.92. If you don’t want to worry about buying Memory and an SSD, you can also get a device with 32GB of Memory and a 1TB SSD (12900H processor) for $687.92.

Beelink EQR6
The Beelink EQR6 is on sale for $369.00 which is a good deal, but not as good of a deal as it was on Black Friday ($329.00). It comes with a powerful Ryzen Processor and 24GB of DDR5 memory, so it’s a pretty good device…it just hurts that it’s over 10% more than it was a few days ago.

GMKTec NucBox G3
The GMKTec NucBox G3 is a great little Mini PC, and for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, it’s at an all-time low price (been on sale for about a week now). It has an N100 processor which can be used for hardware transcoding with Plex or Jellyfin, making it a perfect companion to a NAS device that may not support transcoding (looking at you, Synology).
I’ve used this exact device to build a Mini PC Home Server, and three of them can be used to build a Proxmox Cluster.

This device goes on sale a lot, so you might want to prioritize other things, but technically, it’s at an all-time low.
SODOLA 8-Port 2.5GbE Switch
The name on this device isn’t the most known, but if I’m being honest, I’m not sure it matters. The price-to-performance is crazy when you consider that it has eight 2.5GbE ports and one 1/2.5/10Gb SFP ports for $44.99. It’s unmanaged, which is a little bit of a downside, but honestly, if you just need or want an unmanaged 2.5GbE Switch, it’s hard to beat this.

TP-Link 10GbE Switch
Not the absolute best price if I’m being honest since it’s unmanaged, and I’d probably go with the UniFi Flex 10GbE Switch (since it’s on sale for Black Friday/Cyber Monday), but if you just need an unmanaged 10GbE Switch, this isn’t the worst option. There’s a TRENDnet device on sale for slightly less, but the reviews aren’t that stellar so I’d pay the extra for the TP-Link name in this case.

Wavlink 2.5GbE USB-C & USB-A Adapter
If you need to add 2.5GbE to any device, the Wavlink 2.5GbE USB-C/A adapter will be a great overall device. I prefer this, as it’s USB-A and USB-C, so the compatibility will be broad.
Click here to purchase the Wavlink 2.5GbE USB Adapter on Amazon
There’s not really much to this device – it adds 2.5GbE networking to a device that doesn’t have it, but for $19.19, it’s at an all-time low for Cyber Monday, and it’s not a bad deal by any means. Just remember that this device requires a 2.5GbE Switch to get full speeds!
Crucial X9 2TB/4TB SSD
If you need a portable SSD, this is it. It’s $219.99, comes with 4TB of storage and overall, it’s a fast, reliable drive for the money. It’s USB-C, and quite honestly, there’s not really much more to it – fast performance for a decent price. If you just need storage, go with a 3.5″ device (WD Elements above is a great option), but if you’re looking to travel, this is a great option.

GL.iNet Travel Router
I’m not sure how popular travel routers are out there, but I have always viewed this one as pretty cool. It runs OpenWRT which allows you to do a ton of customizations, and while you don’t have to use it as a travel router, due to it’s form factor and size, that’s what most people use it for.
Click here to purchase the GL.iNet Travel Router on Amazon
It’s at an all-time low price and I feel like I always suggest this thing, but it’s just so cool and once you travel with it, you won’t go back to anything else.
Anker Prime Charger
I have, and absolutely love this thing. It’s not necessarily tech related the way everything else is on this list, but with almost everything being charged by USB-C these days, this thing will charge just about everything you have…including your laptop or MacBook. I waited so long to buy one of these, and wish I did it sooner – I might even buy a second…

Final Thoughts on the 2024 Cyber Monday Deals
These are some of the best Cyber Monday Deals of 2024 for Synology, NAS, hard drives, networking, Mini PCs, and even a charger. Overall, a lot of the deals from Black Friday are over, or sold out, and some of them were on sale for a little less then, but outside of waiting for Black Friday 2025, now is going to probably be the last time to buy some of these devices at these prices.
Make sure you keep checking this list if you’re looking for the best Cyber Monday deals of 2024!
